The Story of LAI Organic Olive Oil
How it all started
It all started in 1993 with the idea of leading a simple life in nature and cultivating everything organic. We acquired forty thousand square meters of land on a hill in southern Attica with no established trees or vegetation.
We planted the first olive trees and have kept at it since then with all kinds of Mediterranean plants, having covered the raised fields completely with upwards of five thousand plants.
After long hours of work and researching organic cultivation, we established an olive grove of six hundred olive trees which we have looked after personally since then.
The first years the grove produced only enough olive oil for the family, today we produce up to two thousand litres in a good year.
The idea of producing excellent olive oil, led us to the Olive Oil Seminars of Vasilis Frantzolas.

Organic cultivation is something we take seriously. In all those years no kind of pesticide nor chemical compound has been utilized. The farm has been certified fully organic by DIO. Although we did start with practically zero knowledge our passion always led us to seek and this is how we came across Vasilis Frantzolas who not only inflamed our passion, but led us to a path of learning with top experts from O.N.A.O.O in Italy and Spain.
